A little story. Several years ago, I was called into an agency heads office, just after I had finished giving out Christmas bonuses to my crew, there was 17 of them. Part of the bonuses included a pair of Carhart artic coveralls (where we were working was very cold). He told me that the funding for the project had been cut and that there was nowhere to put the crew. I had to go back to the Christmas party and lay them all off. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so horrible. To this day, new guys are warned to watch out if Capt. Karl gives them a pair of Carharts. Enjoy your holiday!
