March 6 – Going through the ebook for Blogging To The Bank 2010 , Ruf pointed out a few of Rob Benwell’s tips for using social networking sites to improve traffic generation.
I was already working with them but this small tweak in the right direction resulted in over 350 extra hits to this blog in the space of two hours and 2000 over the following few days.
It’s little tips like that which make the difference… and make some of these blogging money-making books worth the purchase price.
Ruf and I are really enjoying working with Niche Profit Classroom at the moment. It’s just what it says on the tin, a whole syllabus of videos aimed at clarifying all the elements of setting up a profitable website on the WordPress.org template and then how to market it.
From our Alexa Global Rating of 469,323 on 5 March, we have progressed to:
Alexa Rating 30 March 2010
Global 367,488
15 Sites Linking In
Canada 125,704
United States 232,732
United Kingdom 253,888

Global Ranking 363,500
United States 212,651
There are still only 15 sites listed as linking in – even though I know that there were more than 15 who linked to me at my first request back in January. I can only assume that this means that there are only 15 who have the Alexa code as part of their blog template.

Fabulous birthday yesterday. Woke up to a full body massage from the ever attentive Ruf, followed by breakfast and other things in bed.
Then a long, muddy walk in the park taking in the air, before decamping to our local pub (via Lebanese stuffed vineleaves) for a few snifters of Carlsberg Export.
Most relaxing!

Happy Birthday
Waking up to a full body massage sounds like a perfect way to start off the day and the perfect way to end it.
Well a slight variation of that massage.
Thank you, Ruf gives a fabulous massage :)
