Subordinate Definition

When I googled ‘subordinate definition’, the Free Dictionary read as follows:

1. Belonging to a lower or inferior class or rank; secondary.
2. Subject to the authority or control of another.

submissiveness – the trait of being willing to yield to the will of another person or a superior force etc.
5. subordination – the act of mastering or subordinating someone

By nature, I do defer to other people’s wishes, trying to keep them happy at the expense of my own pleasure.

However, sexually I would not say that I am either a subordinate or a submissive, although I do very much like to receive… because Ruf is such a good lover.

As part of our journey of physical exploration, Ruf and I have experimented here and there with bondage, submission and spanking.

I have attempted to dominate him and, whilst it was originally one of his fantasies and he really did try to comply, it just seems to work better when he is in charge. I guess because of our natural characters – he is such a masculine, testosterone-fuelled chap – so to view him as a submissive didn’t work for me.

I love the very manliness of him. The strength that exudes from every pore, despite the fact that he is not an overtly dominant alpha male when amongst his peers. His weapon of choice will always be a combination of brain and tongue. Persuasion with the power of his words – secure in the knowledge that he still has a very useful pair of fists to back him up if necessary.

And, whilst in real life, I will argue my corner and be the more forceful, proactive party in pursuit of goals and achievements, during our sojourns in the bedroom, I have enjoyed every minute of the seamier side of our life together.

Because the truth is that, whilst most of the time I enjoy the feeling of being cherished, at others, I love him to Subordinate Me
