The Milk River Madman chose favourite theme song this week. These were the first that sprang to mind, although I’m sure I’ve omitted at least one due to senior moments :)
And there’s a ‘Bond’ closing credits track that I just can’t remember…

How about ‘All Time High’ from ‘Octopussy? Definitely my favourite Bond theme. The story goes that Rita Coolidge, when approached to do a theme song for the film only agreed on the condition that any song would not contain the actual word ‘Octopussy’.

JC, great choices all. Forgot “show me Heaven” was from Days of Thunder. Only watched it once. It has Tom Cruise in it and no nudity so it really only needs to be watched once.

1,000th post and it was a MCW. I just hit 100 and it took me over a year. I like your theme choices for Jaws and Top Gun. Even though the acting isn’t that great in TG, I watch it every time it’s on TV and I don’t know why. I didn’t think of either of them but they both have very recognizable music. Against All Odds, okay but Days of Thunder, ehh, not so much.

Buzz – I never actually saw Days of Thunder, but that song just does it for me every time. I know what you mean about Top Gun, just watching the trailer reminded me how much I enjoy that film even tho the chemistry isnt as good as it could be between them. It’s just very well crafted – as one would expect from such a good director.
