For Boxer’s selection of Best Documentary, it really has to be something by Michael Moore… and I guess this one is as good as any.

I'm not a fan of Michael Moore and it's mainly because of this film and what he did to Chuck Heston in the ambush interview. I don't see his work as a documentary but it is wat too one-sided and that side would be left. He keeps making movies because people obviously like him, just not me. There is a Star Trk documentary out there you know. Bwahahaha
Happy MCW!
I think I saw that documentary. Wasn’t it about the fans of Star Trek and all the conventions?
Ain't seen this one…reckon I should but I could be allergic to Mikey Moore.
Happy MCW
LOL, I think he’s probably an acquired taste :)
I agree, guys, that MM shouldn’t have gone in unannounced and I have always loved Chuck because of his acting roles. However, as a Brit, his continuing and rather strange support for the right to bear arms in the light of what has happened at several high schools does need to be called to account. MM’s exposure of the role of corporate money in a lot of government decisions in other documentaries is also laudable. We do need the Michael Moore’s of this world to keep our politicians on their toes.
Good morning Joanna,
Buzz Kill put it well, better than I was going to.
Sorry I missed you last week. Your choices were very good.
Happy clip day!
I'm glad I saw this and while Michael Moore can be annoying, I'm proud that we can have documentaries like this made and distributed. There are scenes that impacted me; the two towns.. one in Canada the other in the U.S and the bank scene where you get a gun for opening an account. I have to agree with Buzz about C.Heston. He was an old guy, with an aging mind and NO ONE should come to a person's home unannounced and use him like Moore did. NOT good documentary making.
