Whilst Anonymous Boxer is taking a short hiatus to redefine her online image and persona, I shall attempt to hold the fort for Movie Clip Wednesday.
For those of you who have never played before, the idea is that you trawl the interweb for movies that adequately describe your personal interpretation of the given theme and then post ‘Im Up’ in the comments box below my entry so that we can all come round to check for jinxes and great films that we have either never seen or not viewed in a long time.
Wednesday 11th May in honour of Karl you are invited to select your ‘Most Memorable Thin Man Role In A Movie’.
There’s only one Thin Man…
Next week – Most Memorable Appearance By a Hugh Grant Inspired Fringe…

Excellent – the Thin White Duke. I never would have thought of that. I’ve only seen this movie once and it was pretty weird as I recall. If I had looked at the theme from that point of view, I probably would have done an early Clint Eastwood movie. I won’t make that mistake next week.
But I took the literal translation of the theme at the Buzzkill with a, you guessed it, black and white clip of the only Thin Man character I really know.
I’ll be around (probably tomorrow because I have a late night…tonight).
Happy MCW!
Ah Buzz… I too only know Karl’s Thin Man movies so I wanted to go with something a little less literal for variety :)
Goodnight Joanna,
First off, I would like to thank you for the thought behind the Thin Man theme. And to apologize for not getting by to say, I’m up. Limited connectivity.
I knew you’re going to interpret the thin man theme and you’ve made a fine choice. David Bowie is a most intriguing and entertaining Thin Man.
I hope you had a most enjoyable clip day!
Karl recently posted..Movie clip Wednesday- The Thin Man
Hi Karl, Damn that limited connectivity. I think Blogger has had a major problem the last few days.
