The magnificence of this feat of biological engineering that allows six or more inches of bone-free flesh to remain rigid purely through the amount of blood pumping into it, but which is dependent upon the continuing mental arousal of the mind attached to it.
The way the foreskin withdraws along the shaft and almost disappears back into itself to expose its most sensitive and rewarding parts,
The Blow Job
I love Ruf’s foreskin.
I find it quite fascinating and can play with it for ages, watching with an almost childish pleasure as it retracts to disappear back in on itself to nothing and then pulling forward with sufficient elasticity to produce enough flesh to encase and protect the most sensitive portion of its precious cargo.
But some foreskins don’t work so well. The inability to retract the prepuce is known as foreskin phimosis and almost all male children are born with this condition because the foreskin and the glans are one structure. Over time, these gradually separate into their two discrete parts so that, by the time they reach puberty, 90% of boys can retract their own prepuce. However, whilst it is crucial to keep the underneath of the foreskin clean, all children should be allowed to do this for themselves as, if retraction is forced, the inner lining can be badly damaged.
By the time a young man is 17, only 1% will still be unable to achieve a full retraction. This penile phimosis is usually due to scarring of the inner surface, caused by poor hygiene or an underlying medical condition, such as diabetes.
However, in cases where foreskin phimosis develops in adult uncircumcised males who were previously able to achieve retraction, then there are likely to be problems ahead as it normally implies some form of damage has been sustained.
I discovered one set of research where it transpired that foreskin phimosis could be caused in young men who masturbated whilst lying face down on a bed and rubbing their penis against the mattress. When these patients were encouraged to mimic the natural action of sexual intercourse by moving the foreskin up and down, their penile phimosis was rectified without surgery.
An acquired phimosis can also be caused by localised skin conditions called lichens sclerosis and balanitis xerotica obliterans (BXO). The skin of the penis becomes thickened, white, and hard and this inelastic tissue prevents foreskin retraction.
A condition known as paraphimosis needs to be mentioned at this point. This is where the foreskin has been retracted and becomes trapped because it is too tight to be pushed back over the glans. If paraphimosis lasts for any length of time it can stop the blood flow and immediate emergency medical assistance should be called for as serious complications like gangrene can result.
It used to be the case that a circumcision was the only option if foreskin phimosis did not respond to general medical techniques which tried to stretch the foreskin – usually with the help of topical steroid creams or embedded balloons. These days, however, a small operation called a preputioplasty is favoured. A vertical cut is made through the tight ridged ring that is limiting the movement of the foreskin and then stitched together crossways. After the 2-3 week healing period, a full retraction of the foreskin should then be possible.
Thinking back, all but two of the men with whom I have been involved have been uncircumcised males. Back then, I wasn’t such a fan of the foreskin. I found it rather a scary thing because it was so easy to hurt the man if manoeuvred too roughly. I tended to be involved with it as little as possible.
Nowadays, I am a changed woman. I have learned so much about the significance of its functions to my own sexual pleasure that I understand its importance. That textured, ridged band around the end? Not just a loose flappy piece of chicken skin, but a rolling bearing that assists his entry, protecting the delicate skin at the entrance to my vagina from frictional damage by the tougher covering of his erect shaft.
I consider it one of my personal duties to prevent Ruf from ever suffering with foreskin phimosis. Accordingly, I ensure that his prepuce is regularly retracted over his glans and down his erect shaft… and then smoothed back up again.
Whether that means using my hand, my mouth or my nether regions?
Well, the permutations are endless and there is so much mutual fun to be had.
For more information on conditions which can affect both the circumcised willy and uncircumcised males

A lot times what causes phimosis is that the foreskin got forcefully pulled back before it had separated from the glans when the boy was young. It then created scar tissue which made the foreskin attached tightly around the glans. Majority of the time circumcision isn’t required to fix this problem, only a small cut in the foreskin is required to make it possible for the foreskin to move back and forth over the glans.
Hey Bill, thanks for the input x
I just wanted to say that i learned something today, because of you but, it concerns a body part I do not have !
Take care.
Hey George! Always good to know that something I wrote was informative. Thanks for the vote of confidence x
This one made me laugh and… sigh (in a non-sexual way). When my son was sitting on the potty at approx. age two… That separation occured. I was a little freaked. Because there was some blood. Not much, just a little. His father accused me of being obsessed with his penis. Hello? I had to research on my own about the separation from the glans. Part of my research turned up that my then mother-in-law had forced my husband’s foreskin off the glans and he had to be circumcised as a result. Apparently that was common medical advice at the time: force it back. (Or so she said. She was a nutbar.) If only the internet and blogs such as yours had existed at the time — especially for really stupid people.
I love these practical posts that you write. SO much to learn.
You are awesome, J.
Aw, thanks! x This makes me sigh because I too had similar issues with my Husband over my son. All the healthcare visitors kept telling me that I should make him pull the skin back because he kept getting infections. I don’t have a penis or a foreskin but it seemed to be wrong for me to be doing it without being able to feel whether it hurt or not. I suggested it was down to my Husband to ‘show him’ what to do when they visited the toilet together and talk him through it. The accusation over ‘issues’ is I think manspeak for ‘I am not comfortable showing or talking about my willy with my son’ for I was also on the receiving end of a similar comment. I think this might actually be something for a separate post to see if we can get any of the men out there to give other mothers guidance
Personally, I think circumcision should only be performed on minors due to a medical necessity. Otherwise, it’s mutilation.
I LOVE uncut penises. I have a new lover, and I was so excited to find out that he was uncut. Yum.
LMAO, you must let me know if you have any good tips. It’s always nice to hear from someone who is approaching the goods with fresh eyes ;P
