O My Goodness! Durex Play O Review

"Durex Play O"I’ve had the bottle for a while, but it’s only now that I’ve been able to do my Durex Play O review.

The first time I tried this famous orgasm gel, “created by women, for women using a unique combination of ingredients designed to stimulate, increase desire and bring you the most intense orgasms you’ve ever experienced”, something must have gone rather wrong.

Whether I was just too tired from a hard weekend of fucking? Did I use too little? Was I careless in my interpretation of the instructions? Probably I was just too rushed. Too set on getting the review done because the little packet had been sat at Ruf’s flat for a month and I needed to write about it.

It was a miserable failure. I felt nothing… except disappointment.

And so, it sat there. Lost and alone. Rejected and discarded. Pushed to the back of the nightstand and forgotten.

Until today.

This visit, my cunt has been in the most glorious form. Surviving repeated invasions on Sunday, Monday and now Tuesday. Ruf has been at his most virile and dominant… and my clit has been in its element.

As time wears on though, my menopausal state means that my natural lubrication cannot always survive one of these really long sessions. And that’s when, unable to find any other lube close to my outstretched hand, my fingers closed around the dejected box of Durex Play O. I remembered the blurb.

Best orgasms ever. Increase your potential and your capability to climax. So I relented and gave it another go.

The applicator comes separate from the little jar so it’s a bit fiddly to put it together every time you want to use it, but I believe that is important to keep the active ingredient contained.

Squeezing a pea-sized dollop of gunk onto my finger, I rubbed it onto my clit and waited.

At first, there was nothing… and then it started to tingle. I began to worry. My experience with the ‘Tingle’ version of Durex Play lube had not been a good one, requiring repeated showers to try to soothe the irritated tissues of my delicate vulval area.

But suddenly it came into its own. A spreading cold numbness on and around my clit. But a numbness that focussed my brain and every receptor in my body onto that spot.

As Ruf gently thrust in and out of me, I rubbed at the chill, faster and faster, wider and wider horizontally across my clit as the sensations rose inside me. I was conscious of ‘that feeling’, a growing crescendo combined with something tightening inside me. Ruf said the constriction at the entrance to my vagina around the base of his cock was extraordinary.

And, yes, there were multiples.

It really was quite fabulous.

However, when I tried it again a few hours later, I was acutely disappointed to discover that I could not replicate the marvellous sensations.

I think it’s a joy that I shall utilise when I need extra help because the tissues of my nether regions have been deadened to sensation by repeated poundings… because I can’t rely on it to be effective on every occasion.

So, I think that’s my verdict. When it works, it’s fantastic but, for me, it’s a very hit and miss affair and I can’t work out why.

For special occasions, Durex Play O is a wonderful thing.
