Durex Pick & Licks

So, this is what Ruf got for his Valentine’s Day gift… well, that and the obligatory blow job of course :)

It’s a fabulous new selection box idea from Durex where you get to choose sachets from Durex’s wide range of lubes and condoms in a presentation pack.

Touch it. Stroke it. Lick it. Slide it. Try it; see if you like it. Pick five or more one shot condoms and lube sachets – then what you lick is up to you. These cheeky little numbers are only after a one night stand with you. Their motto is ‘don’t commit before you’re ready‘ (to full size packs that is). Try everything out and see what does it for you first. Some are fruity, some are flirty, some are tingly and touchy feely. Explore, experiment, then come back for more.

The Durex Pick & Licks site is very cute and fun. Lots of bright colours with a slider to take you through the range of condoms and lubes and then a little mouseover to explain the finer points of each item.

When you’ve made your decision, just click on ‘select’ underneath your chosen product and it appears in a selection box at the bottom of the page, ready for you to finalise what you eventually put into your basket. Each item costs £1 and the minimum order is £5, which entitles you to free delivery of your order in a sweet little pink and white candy-stripe bag.

I think it’s a really clever way of getting you to choose something other than your ‘usual’ condom or lube without the worry that it’s not going to suit and leave you stuck with a box/bottle of unwanted product.

Ruf is a trained masseur and I chose a couple of sachets of the 2 in 1 massage gel, as we’ve been itching to have a go at that but, with my allergies, we were concerned about buying a whole bottle. Review to follow later.

I had also chosen three packets of their other lubes – Feel and Heat, which are regular favourites with us anyway. The little packs are just the right size to slip into an overnight bag for a frisky weekend away, rather than lugging around a whole bottle, so it’s definitely a service that we will be ordering from in the future.

To be able to try out all the different types of condom to test for comfort and fit will certainly be a boon to anyone who struggles with the sizing of some prophylatics.

But it’s also great for those who want to lick what they pick. You get to check out whether you actually like the taste without having had to purchase a whole bottle/pack.
