BDSM Restraint for Vegans - New Millenium Hog Tie Review

"Hog Tie"One of the problems of hanging out with a vegan is the paucity of bondage products that we can play around with.

This problem is compounded by my own allergy to latex. So, when we came across the Whipsmart’s New Millenium Hog Tie, we got quite excited.

The informational blurb talks about how this hog tie does not restrict access to intimate areas – they are all exposed and accessible, whilst the wrist and ankles are held securely, but comfortably, in place against the thighs. A firm restraint with no chafing.

Whilst most other hog ties have a central ring to which the limbs are secured – usually via a series of leather straps pulling everything into the centre, the New Millenium version is more longitudinal.

It has two loops of stiff webbing that fit around each thigh and are secured in place with velcro. Attached to each loop of webbing is a padded wrist cuff made of a neoprene-like material. Utilising a lengthening/shortening plastic buckle device like you get on a rucksack, a length of stiff webbing links the thigh loop to the ankle cuff and pulls the two together as tightly as required. The webbing fabric around the thigh is quite rough, especially if it is twisted during the application of the velcro.

The beauty of this piece of kit – and its major advantage over the regular variety – is that the legs of the receiver fold naturally back on themselves at the knee hinge rather than being across the buttocks, a position which tends to impede access from on top or behind. The same applies to the arms. They are not drawn across the back to slot into the central ring, but lie against the sides, keeping the subject immobile, but not making the position as uncomfortable as it might otherwise be if fully drawn back.

Ruf certainly enjoyed being able to paddle or penetrate me without any limbs restricting the process but I suspect it might not be hard core enough for some more experienced bdsm practitioners.

The big downside was that, even though he made sure that everything was fully assembled before I arrived, it still required a certain amount of concentration on his part and for me to be extremely compliant to facilitate getting the device on.
