After a fabulous morning in bed with orgasms too numerous to count, Ruf produced his Valentine’s gift.
It was a handwritten love letter extolling my virtues and perfections over two A4 pages. You will understand that I cried profusely, especially bearing in mind that, unbeknown to him, some weeks previously in a comment on someone else’s post that he couldn’t possibly have seen, I had said that my ideal Valentine’s gift would be a handwritten love letter.
I have never told him that.
I cannot even begin to put into words how much those two pieces of paper meant to me and I held them close to my heart as he made love to me once more. Gently and carefully, he held my body and took possession of it with such passion that even the slightest internal movement translated into an almost visceral pleasure that permeated my body and enveloped my mind with the enormity of his love.
It was Truly, Madly, Deeply. A moment where two bodies become one and two minds connect and interweave. And you just know that this was meant to be.
So I was going to put up the Savage Garden clip. But, as we watched the FA Cup football during a moment of refraction, we were suddenly captivated by this in the ad break.
The normal man on the street singing out his passion. I think this says it all…

Awwww ……. I couldn’t agree more with you!
About the letter and the video clip …. but mostly the letter.
I have always dreamed of a man writing one for me … or a song.
Sappy, I know …. but sometimes I am. lol
Happy Valentines day to you Joanna & Ruf!
Blaze, I just hope some of the gentlemen who read this blog will sit up and take note for next Valentine’s Day :)
I love this song and I guess it sums up how I feel about the man I connected with today even if it was with a a 30 mile distance between us
I am sooo very pleased for you that you had such a wonderful day and I know without a doubt that if I had been in your place I would have cried too
Lady, there are 200 miles between Ruf and me. Four years later, we still seem to be managing x
A love letter straight from the heart – perfect :]

Several years of reading you… You sound happy and happier. I am so glad you’ve taken your life and turned it into something you enjoy, a place in which you take and give pleasure, all of it. XXS
S, I am in such a good place at the moment. After so many miserable years… it is truly remarkable x
I’m so, so pleased things are working out so well for you. Lots of Valentine’s love, BG Xx
Thank you BG x
Jeanie doesn’t get videos very well, but, I called her and I saw your video and so, I held the phone up for her to hear.
(she knew the tune!)
What a great tune!
Ruf and I were just captivated when it came on the tv in the ad break. Fortunately the Villa managed to salvage a draw in the game we were watching or Valentine’s Day could all have gone horribly wrong :)
I loved the video, and watching the faces of the men singing. What a wonderful day… I’m happy for both of you. xo
I am so pleased, you have come so far and what a fantastic valentines day for one who deserved it so much..xx
