HELLOOOOOO!!!!
So, here we are.
On the fourth anniversary of the day I first travelled up the motorway to visit Ruf at his flat and started a journey that would end in a Brave New World.
In the January of the following year I gave in to the admonishments of my friend, Angela, googled blogs and set up Having My Cake And Eating It Too… although I didn’t pluck up the courage to actually write anything for another six months.
It seems only fitting that 21 January 2010 is the day that I open up for business in my own domain.
This is the first step in what, I hope, will be the start of achieving financial independence.
I hope I can persuade all of you to stay with me by losing the blogspot and altering any links on your bookmarks and feedreaders from http://andeatingit2.blogspot.com to:
http://andeatingit2.com
And, of course, this new blog has a proper RSS feed too. Look, up there, right at the top of the page.
It’s going to take a little while to get used to WordPress after so long at Blogger, but I’m getting there slowly.
With many thanks to the fabulous AAG for all her hard work in setting everything up, tweaking the lay-out to make the new blog ‘search engine friendly’ and importing all the hundreds of drafts that I had half-written. But also for her amazing patience in explaining how everything works to me in English, rather than Geek… and never getting cross when I was being particularly obtuse x
Onwards and Upwards!
I had this set of undies sitting in the drawer for ages before I remembered them.
Good old Marks & Spencer.
It’s just a shame that, when I walked into the bathroom to show Ruf, he was attending to his oral hygiene and couldn’t resist thwacking me on the bottom with his toothbrush.
You would not believe how much elasticity there is in the handle of a toothbrush… or how it could sting. Hence the red mark on my butt cheek.
I wasn’t terribly keen on any of the resulting pictures as a result. And, in this one, I particularly hate what I view as a wrinkle where I’m twisting my body round to talk to him.
Ruf, on the other hand, loves the way my skin does that.
And, once on the bed, it wasn’t long before both the camera and the lace were discarded…
